Our Story
At New Beginnings Day Nurseries, our story began with a heartfelt personal experience that continues to inspire everything we do. In 2009, I found myself at a pivotal moment in life. As a mother of two young children under the age of three, with no family or close friends nearby to support me, I made the life-changing decision to return to university. Like many parents, I was filled with worry and apprehension about finding the right childcare for my little ones. Balancing the demands of education and parenting felt overwhelming, but I enrolled my children in a nursery—and that decision changed the course of my life. The nursery I chose became much more than a place for my children to spend their days; it became an extension of my family. The warmth, care, and unwavering support of the staff enveloped us during a challenging yet exciting chapter of my life.
Their dedication allowed me to focus on my education without guilt, knowing my children were in safe, loving hands. They provided support in ways I could never have imagined, transforming what could have been a daunting experience into one filled with hope and reassurance. When I graduated and stepped into the professional world, I reflected on how profoundly that nursery had impacted my life. I never experienced the dreaded “mum guilt” because leaving my children in their care felt like leaving them with family. That sense of trust and security inspired me to create something equally meaningful for other families. When the opportunity arose to own my own nursery, I knew exactly what I wanted to create—a home away from home where every family feels supported, understood, and valued. That vision became the foundation of New Beginnings Day Nurseries.
